This weekend is full of visual flavor, bursting at the seems with all the gorgeous opportunities for photos that one photographer can handle.
Yesterday I photographed Alex and Nick's breathtaking winery (and wine-themed) wedding - all of the special little touches and personal details made it not only visually spectacular, but deeply sentimental as well. These two will have their own dedicated blog once I get their photos edited, but for now they deserved mentioning. Alex and Nick, it was truly an amazing day. I am positive that your family and friends enjoyed every detail! Sunset on a bluff overlooking a river in October? I'm not sure it gets anymore romantic than that, when you're celebrating your unique love story with all those close to you. I snagged Missy (yes, the Missy half of Missy and Clyde) to tag along with me for the day, and she was an incredible help as a second photographer. She got a lot of great shots, but she managed one particular shot of the wedding couple that is absolutely to die for. I was so lucky to have her along with me yesterday!
Today I get to switch gears a little and photograph another gorgeous couple, Owais and Emma, for their engagement photos. We'll be in Forest Park, on a beautiful October evening - World's Fair Pavillion to start, and who knows where we'll go from there. All manner of possibility is laid out before us! What makes their visual feast so enticing is the fact that Emma and Owais are strikingly polar opposites. Owais is all dark - dark skin, dark eyes, dark hair; and Emma is all light - fair skin, blonde hair, blue eyes. The contrast is going to be the dessert to a wonderful weekend feast of pictures.
Bon appetit!
