Aubrey and Todd's Engagement Session

It was cloudy and chilly, and already I had been on the phone with Aubrey a few times to push our session back. She was really sick, and they had had trouble with the babysitter already. Add in the long drive from Troy, and it was shaping up to be a crummy morning for these two.

I was standing outside Busch Stadium waiting for these two, wishing I had my jacket. I was in a good mood and was excited to be there, hoping that I could at least give them great pictures since they had so much trouble getting downtown.

The pictures went very well! Aubrey was such a trooper--even being sick and wearing heels, she let me direct her and walked to all the places I wanted to go, all with a smile. We finished up our portraits around Busch Stadium then they drove the three of us down to Laclede's Landing for a different look. I was so happy with the results and was glad that Aubrey is pretty enough that she didn't even look sick. Todd was a trooper and smooched on his woman at my request, even though it didn't dawn on me until afterward that he might get whatever bug she had.

I am such a goober when I do pictures, and I'm always glad when people put up with me. And especially when they look so natural, and so gorgeous while I'm acting like a goober! You guys were so great - thank you so much, and I'm sorry that your morning was so crummy on our picture day.
