I am still kind of on Cloud 9 from this engagement session.
This session happened directly following Aubrey and Todd's engagement session. Aubrey and Todd dropped me off at Tigin to meet Randy and Jessica for lunch. I had the best Philly cheesesteak ever, and then we walked down to Busch Stadium.
I got to go down on the... well, not on the field, but on the warning track. Randy and Jessica arranged for us to have half an hour to do pictures inside the stadium. The dug out, stands, dirt (hey it's special dirt, ok) etc. was ours to play with! Almost free reign. It was so tempting to drop everything and take off across the grass...LEAP... and roll around in giddy joy. But I was good, because we weren't allowed on the 'field'. I kept control of myself and focused on the task at hand - taking great pictures of these two.
After our half hour was up, we walked back to Randy's car. Randy's car just so happens to be a Mustang. Mustangs just so happen to be my favorite car.
And I didn't think the day could get any better after the stadium!?!?! Enter: The 2008 'Stang. White with black racing stripes. Oh I was in collective heaven - baseball, fast car, pictures...oh my.
Randy and Jessica also just so happen to be a TON of fun. I love how they joke around with each other, and how smitten they are with one another. We hopped in the Mustang and headed over to Soulard for some pics around town. Jessica had to have the playground pictures - super cute. I went to school with Jessica and it was so great to see her again, and to see her so darn happy. It warms the heart for sure!
I also have the pleasure of taking more pictures of these two at their wedding, which is going to be in my old home town of Charleston, SC on Folly Beach. Dude! A MidWestern bride getting to do her first beach wedding? You know next September can't come fast enough.
HUGE thanks to Jessica and Randy for such an AMAZING day. Their Engagement party was this past weekend at Third Rail in Pacific and Steve Ewing (formerly of The Urge) was there - and I hope it was awesome!
Wow- super cute! Looks like a beautiful day and awesome couple....Love when that happens! Girlie when it slows down we need to get together one of these days!
