Friday Photo Challenge

I've been mulling over a concept for today's photo challenge, but all good ideas proved unreachable.

I originally planned to do something to introduce fall, in celebration of the Autumnal Equinox, but I thought that would be a concept I'd rather visit when the leaves are really ripe.

Jeremy had the idea that I should photograph his guitar - something that I've actually been meaning to do for quite a while. He has a Rickenbacker bass and a Fender Jazz Bass Geddy Lee signature edition, and since I've taken photos of the Geddy Lee before I told him to grab the Rick.

I am still up to meeting this challenge in more creative ways, but this is what I came up with this evening. I opted for black and white, because I felt it best exemplified the vintage character of the instrument.
